It’s been a while since I’ve posted – we were in Ireland and didn’t see the house for almost two weeks. We were so excited when we pulled up to the house and saw that they were putting on the roof. We are doing a standing seam metal roof. I love the look of it, it will last forever and it’s very energy efficient. It’s SO hot here right now, in the 90’s every day, and I feel so badly for those guys having to work up on that metal roof in such extreme heat.
Here an updated photo of the front of house:

They are continuing to paint the exterior of the house. They’re using Sherman Williams Emerald paint, Greek Villa for the house exterior and Highly Reflective White for all the trim. The bottom of the house will be 2 different shades of taupe. It’s looking so nice but sure is taking a long time, maybe because of the heat. They should start painting the interior this week – they’re prepping for it now.

The tile has been installed throughout the house in the bathrooms and laundry room. They’ll come back to put the tile on part of the back splash once the kitchen is ready for it.
